Havana, Cuba 2011

Pam heads down the stairs toward "El Morro" (Morro Castle) which sits on a point overlooking Havana's narrow harbor channel.  Built between 1589 and 1630, it originally served as an important defense against pirate attacks and invasions.  Today, it's primarily a tourist viewpoint with souvenir stands.  The commanding view over Havana can be seen in the photo prior to this one.
