The Zadar Sea Organ is a musical instrument, seventy meters long with thirty-five organ pipes built under the concrete steps. The musical pipes are located so that the sea water and wind movements produce musical sounds. As the tides and winds constantly change, this organ offers a never-ending, always different concert of numerous musical variations in which the performer is nature itself. You should begin to hear the organ in a few seconds. It was designed by architect Nikola Bašić. |
