| Our favorite animal to spot in Tortuguero was the sloth. Though the name is somewhat disgusting, we found them adorable and endearing. They move very slowly and deliberately through the trees and always seem to be smiling! This one is a three-toed sloth (you can see the toes on his left foot) but we also saw some of the two-toed sloths. |
