| The Anhinga is kind of like a cormorant. It is a fish-eating water bird with dark plumage and a long neck. Its feathers are not waterproofed by oils (like ducks) and this allows it to dive and catch fish easily. Once out of the water, they frequently give this display as they dry themselves. |
