The Shanghai Museum is a treasure, housing the country's premier collection of relics and artifacts.  The bronze collection is among the best in the world.  Jade exhibits, Chinese coins, and a wonderful collection of exhibitions from China's 55 minority groups makes it easy to spend hours here.  Note the very modern buildings arising everywhere.
