| We stopped for lunch near the Pelela Pass at Chendebji Chorten which was built in the 18th century by a Tibetan lama. It is a Nepalese style stupa with eyes painted at four cardinal points. According to the legend, it was built to cover the remains of an evil spirit who was killed here. |
