| Stretching to the north and west of Launceston is the Tamar River Valley, one of the well-known wine regions of Tasmania. We spent a day criss-crossing the river and stopping at some of the wineries/vineyards. This was one of our first stops, Vélo Wines, owned by Micheal Wilson (a former Olympian and international road cyclist). Pam wasted no time getting started! |
